Women who find their place in Alpha Chi Omega (www.axoatiupui.com) discover opportunities to connect, lead, grow and serve among sisters who celebrate them for the best versions of who they are and who they want to become. Alpha Chi Omega was founded in 1885 in DePauw University. The Kappa Omega chapter is proud to represent Alpha Chi Omega at IUPUI, our chapter was installed on April 2, 2016, making AXO the newest sorority on IUPUI’s campus! The bond between our sisters is unbreakable and unique. With our five values: Academic Interest, Character, Financial Responsibility, Leadership Ability, and Personal Development, the Kappa Omega chapter provides its members with unique opportunities to seek the heights. We not only encourage such incredible experiences, but we also create them!  Sisterhood plays such a big part within our sorority, from the day women receive their bid to the day they graduate. Alpha Chi Omega focuses heavily on our philanthropy, Domestic Violence Awareness and Education. We work year-round to host events to raise money for a local shelter, The Coburn Place. The Coburn Place is a local domestic violence shelter that helps women and children escape abusive situations and assists them back onto their feet. You can find us hosting annual events such as Volley Against Violence, Denim Day, Healthy Relationships Week, and Domestic Violence Awareness Month, to spread awareness and educate our peers about domestic violence awareness and identifying healthy relationships.
